Celebrating the 2025 National Older People’s Day: Ngoerah Hospital’s

Ngoerah Hospital held a celebration for the 2025 National Older People’s Day (HLUN) together with the hospital’s retirees on May 11, 2025, at The Sila’s Agrotourism. This event was a special occasion to honor the dedication of the retirees while encouraging a continued journey of healthy and meaningful aging. In carrying out this event, Ngoerah Hospital partnered with Sahaja Bali Foundation, who actively contributed to designing and facilitating a series of enjoyable and engaging activities for older people.

The event was officially opened by Ken Wirianti, SE, MRM, Director of HR, Education, and General Affairs at Ngoerah Hospital, who expressed her hope that older people remain active and enthusiastic in their daily lives. Meanwhile, the 2025 HLUN Committee Chair, Dr. dr. I Gusti Putu Suka Aryana, Sp.PD-KGer, FINASIM, emphasized that this event is an expression of love and appreciation for those who have devoted their lives to healthcare service. In his remarks, he also introduced the role of Sahaja Bali Foundation, which has long been involved in supporting and enhancing the well-being of older people across various regions.

A lively series of activities—including group exercise sessions, karaoke, and a shared lunch—added warmth and joy to the celebration. In addition, the team from Fitology Fitness provided practical guidance on physical movements suitable for older people to help maintain their fitness, and led simple exercise routines that participants could easily practice at home.

Support from sponsors such as KPN Kamadhuk, The Sila’s, and Fitology Fitness also contributed to the success of the event.

This celebration was not only an expression of gratitude but also a reminder that every stage of life deserves to be celebrated with joy, care, and intergenerational collaboration.
